Dear parents, carers, staff, governors and friends,
We hope that you enjoyed visiting your child’s classroom on Tuesday. We are so pleased that we can return to inviting parents and carers in to school to see the progress that the children are making. I know that the children enjoyed showing you their rooms and some of their learning. If you couldn’t make this first open classroom then please do not worry as there will be one each half term for you to attend. The next one will be held on Thursday 8th December 2022 from 3:15-3:45pm
Parent and Carer meetings
Our first of two parent and carer meetings will take place on Tuesday 8th November and Thursday 10th November from 3:30-7pm. We will be sending out the details for booking your appointments next week.
Safeguarding at Brindishe Manor
As part of our learning around keeping ourselves safe, we teach the children not to speak to people through our fences or gates at school. We also ask our staff to be vigilant in ensuring that nobody from outside school is talking to the children and they will speak to the people involved and inform the school. We know it is lovely when you walk past to see your child at play or learning with their friends, but we do ask that you do not encourage them to come over to say hello as the adults supervising do not always know who familiar adults are and other children can find it confusing.
We thank you for your support with this and in helping got keep our children safe while in school.
Wishing you all a restful weekend,
Kate Porter and the Brindishe Manor team
