new lee manor associate head

We are very pleased to let everyone know that we successfully and unanimously appointed a new Associate Headteacher for Lee Manor in partnership with Brindishe Schools last Friday.

Lee Manor School is joining the Brindishe Schools' partnership for the next three years. We already have many connections and contacts with each other and it makes so much sense to join our resources and share our strengths to benefit all of our children and families.

We are very pleased to let everyone know that we successfully and unanimously appointed a new Associate Headteacher for Lee Manor in partnership with Brindishe Schools last Friday.

Alex Bell will join Lee Manor in September 2011. He is currently a very experienced deputy head in a  renowned outstanding school in Tower Hamlets. His current school is, like Brindishe Schools, nominated as a National Support School and therefore he is very used to working in an outstanding context whilst supporting the improvement of other schools in (and outside) London. As well as many years of experience in primary teaching and school leadership, in his career, Alex has been a National Strategies Literacy Consultant. He brings many strengths to Lee Manor and is very excited about joining our partnership.

Alex says "I am absolutely delighted to be joining such a vibrant community school as Lee Manor at the start of its exciting partnership with the Brindishe schools and can't wait to start working with everyone!"

As Associate Headteacher, Alex Bell will be responsible for the day-to-day running of Lee Manor School and children, parents and staff will see him as ‘ the Headteacher’. As Executive Headteacher Vicki Paterson will be supporting the associate head teacher, staff and governors to ensure that Lee Manor goes from strength to strength.

Our new partnership is a very exciting opportunity for all three schools – what an amazing community we make and how exciting it is to be starting our new journey together!
